Each of our clay blends offer unique benefits. In order of mildest to strongest…

WHITE - our most gentle and skin-softening mask; ideal for for dry, sensitive and delicate skin types.

ROSE - gently cleansing and drawing blend for mature and combination skin.

GOLD - soothing while gently exfoliating for irritated, dry, damaged or blemish-prone skin.

GREEN - nourishing bio-mineral blend to balance, tone and exfoliate; suitable for most every skin type.

RED - deeply drawing and pore-minimizing; excellent for oily, porous or acne-prone skin.

BLACK - our most purifying and pore de-congesting blend; perfect for skin detox, recommended for those who wear concealer, SPFs or to detox from not-so-natural and/or clinical-grade products.

To Use:

• In a small bowl, blend 1/2 teaspoon of your clay mask powder into your “activator” of choice.

  1. Using your mask brush, apply a thin to moderate layer of mask over your face, neck and décolleté (upper back as well if this is an area prone to congestion or other skin issues like psoriasis).

  2. Allow your mask to set until dry (drying time will vary depending on how wet your mask is and how much was applied).

     note: Some itchiness can be expected during the mask setting time. In most cases, this is from the drawing of materials and toxins from pores a well as the tightening effect of the clay as it dries. If you experience intense itchiness or burning, remove immediately and completely as you may be experiencing a reaction or your skin may be detoxing too heavily or rapidly.

• As a dry powder, you can make our masks fresh with each use which delivers more benefits + eliminates the need for preservatives. A little goes a long way. Just 1/2 tsp (or less) is needed per mask.

“Activator” options:

• Organic Yogurt (dairy or vegan) adds skin nourishing probiotics and skin-conditioning fats.

• Organic or local Honey* provides a myriad of proven benefits to skin for reduction of inflammation, youth preservation and wound healing.

• Black tea is high in antioxidants and polyphenols that are known to delay the premature aging of our skin.

• Green tea provides numerous anti-inflammatory properties which can help reduce skin irritation, redness, and swelling.

• Herbal Teas offer any number of benefits depending on their respective constituents. You can easily make use of any tea you’re sipping on by adding a dash to your clay mask.

• Aloe Water provides a myriad of benefits including expedited healing of wounds, reduction in redness, soothing of skin issues such as burns, eczema, psoriasis, acne, etc.

• Hydrosols - born from the steam distillation of botanicals, hydrosols have been found to be as beneficial as they are delicious for skin and overall well-being.

*We highly encourage using only organic and/or local honey to ensure higher standards in the treatment of our generous bees as well a the nutritive/enzymatic value in the honey they provide.

White - Kaolinite (white clay), buttermilk powder*, essential oil of Citrus aurantium (neroli). *certified organic

Rose - Kaolinite (rose clay), rhassoul clay (Moroccan lava clay), Rosa centifolia (rose) petals*, essential oil of Aniba rosaeodora (rosewood). *certified organic

Gold - Illite (French yellow clay), Anthemis nobilis (chamomile)* flowers, essential oil of Anthemis nobilis (chamomile). *certified organic

Green - Illite (French green clay), Lavandula spp (lavender) flowers*, Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) essential oil*. *certified organic

Red - ingredients: Kaolinite (Moroccan red clay), Solum Fullonum (Fuller’s earth clay), Aspalathus linearis (rooibos tea) leaves*, essential oil of Cananga odorata (ylang ylang). *certified organic

Black - kaolin (black clay), activated charcoal, Cymbopogon martinii (palmarosa) essential oil.
